[...] The conundrum is further complicated by the fact that it is difficult to disentangle many of Tajikistan’s topics into distinct self-contained subjects. Considering the post-civil war context of the country, this doesn’t really come as a surprise. Immigration, demographics, macroeconomics, national security, and social issues (e.g., the imbalanced ratio of men to women) all seem much more tightly bundled together for Tajikistan than for many other countries in Central Asia. A good example of what I mean is this post. [...]

Uhh - guys, I'm sure we can all make our opinions heard and STILL be nice and respectful of others. I haven't seen TB's comment before it got edited, but I trust Vadim's editorial pen when it comes to moderation.

Anyway - taken into account your welcome contributions to this blog before, Tajik Boy, I'm sure you understand that "sense of humour" is a very subjective concept differing from person to person.

If you have any concerns about this, be sure to contact Vadim and me via email.

Thanks!

You are offending a group of people. I know about your hateful attitude towards the Pamiris but please don’t make it public.

Nothing personal but you assume too much. Those who got offended need open their mind and try to develop some sense of humor, perhaps then they will start appreciating my comments.
