Weak And Strong Sides Of Rahmon’s Policy
Yesterday Tajiksitan celebrated Constitution Day. Also, last year, on that date Emomali Rahmon was reelected for his first 7 year term according to the new amended constitution. IA Regnum conducted a poll amongst the political experts on the successes and failures of President Rahmon during the past year.
According to the experts, one of the most considerable successes of Rahmon during the past year is strengthening of the multi-vector foreign policy. They mentioned an improvement in relations with China, Iran, Russia and with most of the CIS countries. Also, some countries from the Arab world were added to the list of friends during past year. According to Saifullo Safarov the three summits (CIS, EurAsEC and CSTO) simultaneously organized in Dushanbe were the top of success in Tajik foreign policy. He is sure that these summits strengthened the position of our country on the international political arena.
One of the major failures of Rahmon this year according to the polled experts was his personnel policy. He tried to reform the government but failed to do that. The head of the analytical department at Islamic Revival Party Hikmatullo Saifullozoda thinks that the President has not met the expectations of the population. He says, that during his inaugural speech last year he promised to hire professionals but in reality it is no like that. All the high officials are selected according to the place of birth.
Qosimsho Bekmuhamadov, an independent political scientist, also thinks that the personnel policy of Rahmon is weak.
Although Emomamli Rahmon still has a huge support of the population, he can not establish a team of strong young professionals, who could meet the requirements of 21st century. I think that in the future Ramon should make some corrections to this personnel policy because the current members of his team do not satisfy the needs of all social classes.
Nevertheless, most of the polled experts think that 70-80% of the population of Tajikistan supports Rahmon, and they believe that if he wants to change something he can do it.

Vadim you have misspelled the word weak. Week means hafta, i.e. nedelya.

Hay Vadim i support your all ideas, president Rahmonov in last year he gave promise to tajik people to invest Education in rural areas of Tajikistan but in reality this problem still going as a dream. It could be better if Imomali Rahmon to invest literecy of Tajik people.
